SUBVERSION > FILM AS A SUBVERSIVE ART/ LUX
October 2009
'Subversion' is a project devised for LUX.org.uk,
in parallel to their exhibition for Zoo 2009
- Film As A Subversive Art,
inspired by Amos Vogel's 1974 book of the same name.
In occasion of 'Film as a Subversive Art', Supercream invites a selection of artists, curators and writers to construct a playlist of on-line videos and links that will outline their position in relation to the idea of subversion.

THE SETTING OF X
October 2009
The Setting of X is an on-line project developed by Supercream together with artist Maria Taniguchi as a commission for Flexible Aura
- an exhibition curated by Christine Takengny and Hiyunjoo Beyon at the Brain Factory, Seoul, South Korea.
The project functions as an intuitive aggregator for a selection of random video contexts, and artists' projects - both conveyed into a story about the loosenes of the process of creating a narration.
Each section of the project develops out of the previous one, generating a reactive compilation of video documents from youtube, that is based on simultaneity instead of on a showreel.
