SUBVERSION

A project devised for LUX.org.uk,
in parallel to their exhibition for Zoo 2009
- Film As A Subversive Art,
inspired by Amos Vogel's 1974 book of the same name.

In occasion of 'Film as a Subversive Art', Supercream invites a selection of artists, curators and writers to construct a playlist of on-line videos and links that will outline their position in relation to the idea of subversion.

Emerging from different cultural and generational backgrounds, the participant implement the exhibition by broadening the field of discussion, raising new problematics, interpretations and perspectives.

Playlists will be uploaded regularly throughout October 2009, on both supercream.org.uk/adoptions, and on lux.org.uk.
