1OPENING!

2 Nankervis performance 5pm

Opening of the permanent installation by GEORGINA STARR - Main Hall
Casts of Victorian female nudes form the basis of Georgina Starr's dramatic installation of sculptures, their demure sensuality intensifying the latent eros of neo-classic environs.
But during the opening, the sculptures were crashed by the artist herself, leaving at their place a pile of detritus and fragments of chalk limbs...

We interviewed the artist for you - you will find the text on next week's page! >

Opening of show by DAVID MEDALLA - Right gallery
Until Tuesday 25 November
The poetic provocations of David Medalla alight in the Musee du Louvre, a wry multimedia installation narrating the bizarre love triangle trade between one of the West's most beloved sculptures, the museum that desires her, and the adoring throngs that flock to see and photograph her.

Listen to David Medalla talking about Venus
and the myth of Paris' apple...
